Parakh Computer

The shop is at number 46 in Ramganj, right there near the Jain Mandir. If you know the area, you know it gets quite busy around the temple times. Parakh Computer is just a small place where we handle all sorts of tech stuff. Mostly, it’s people coming in with broken screens or machines that won’t start up anymore. We spend a lot of time sitting at the back bench with wires everywhere. Sometimes the street outside is so loud with the bells and the traffic that it's hard to hear the fans whirring inside the CPUs. We’ve been here for a good while now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but we usually get too busy with the work to bother with that. People stop by just to ask questions or maybe look for a spare cable they lost. It’s not a big fancy showroom or anything. There’s a bit of dust on the higher shelves because the fans bring it in from the road. We try to keep things organized, but when three or four people bring in their laptops at once, the counter gets covered in screws and tools pretty fast. It is just the way things go here in Ramganj. Most days it’s just us and the machines. We know the neighbors and the people who walk past every morning. It feels right being part of this little corner near the temple. We keep the lights on late most nights, especially when a repair is proving to be difficult.
