Shree D Singh Inter College

If you head down Karma Road in Allahabad, you’ll find us out in Garamar. We are right there in the Karma area. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city center, so it feels a little more quiet out here. The college has been part of this community for a while. We have students coming in from the nearby villages and the local area. Most mornings, you’ll see the bicycles lined up outside. It’s a simple building, nothing too modern, but it does the job for what we need. We spend a lot of time just managing the daily schedule. There are always exams to prep for or registrations to handle. The staff here is mostly local people from around Allahabad. We know the families who send their children here. Sometimes the dusty road makes things a bit messy, but we sweep up and keep going. It’s an inter college, so we have the older kids who are getting ready for their next steps. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, but we have the basics. On some days, it gets quite loud with everyone talking in the hallways. Then, once the final bell rings, the whole place empties out fast. It’s just a regular part of life here on Karma Road. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. Just a place for school and a lot of paperwork that never seems to end.
