Sudha Smriti High School

Sudha Smriti High School is right here in Vill Karoundi Khurd, just off the Khitawli Road. We spend most of our days here with the students who come in from all around the Badwara area. It’s a quiet spot in Katni, mostly just fields and local houses nearby. The teachers here have been around for a long time, and we all know the families in the village pretty well. Our building isn't huge, but it has enough rooms for the different classes we run. In the mornings, you can hear the kids arriving on their cycles or walking down the dirt paths. We try to keep things organized, though it gets a bit chaotic during the lunch breaks when everyone is out in the yard. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just move the desks closer to the windows so there's enough light to read the books. It’s just a normal school day for us, focusing on getting through the lessons and making sure the kids understand what’s on the blackboard. We don’t have fancy stuff, but we have enough benches and blackboards to get the work done. Living and working in a place like 483773 means we see the same faces every day at the local shops. It’s a tight community where everyone knows who is in which grade. We just keep doing our bit here in this corner of Katni every single day.
