Jpv Dav Public School is located out in Kuthla, which is a part of Katni. It’s a bit away from the main city noise, which is nice for the students when they are trying to study. The school has been standing here for years, and most people in the 483501 pin code area are familiar with the front gates. Every morning starts with the same routine, the yellow buses pulling in and the dust settling on the road outside. We have a decent sized building, nothing too modern or glass-covered, but it does the job for us. The walls have a few scuffs here and there from years of kids running past them. We have a library that stays mostly quiet and a playground that gets very busy during the lunch breaks. Katni is known for its lime and stone industries, and sometimes you can feel that industrial vibe even here at the school. We just try to keep the classrooms clean and the students focused on their textbooks. It is a lot of work managing all the different grades from the little ones to the seniors. The teachers often stay late into the evening to finish their grading or plan for the next month of lessons. We have a small garden area that we try to keep green, though it is hard work in the peak of the summer heat. People around here are hardworking, and we try to reflect that in how we run the place.
