Katni is a busy place, and our spot here in the quarters is right in the middle of that Madhya Pradesh heat. We’ve been based out of this specific quarter for a while now. It’s not a place you’d find in a travel guide, that’s for sure. It’s more about the practical side of being near the production lines and the rail links that Katni is famous for. The address is simple, just a quarter number in the town, and that’s how we like it. We don’t have a front desk or a receptionist greeting people. It’s more like, you knock on the door and someone who’s probably busy with a ledger or a phone call will answer. We deal with a lot of local logistics and just making sure the Acc Limited name stays solid in this part of the country. The walls are thick to keep the sun out, and the floors are easy to sweep because the dust from the roads and the works gets everywhere. It’s a bit of a plain existence, but it’s what we know. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big talk or fancy furniture. Most days are spent just checking off lists and making sure the supplies are moving where they need to go. It’s the kind of work that doesn’t get much glory but it’s what keeps things running for everyone else around Katni.
