About Pragya Heritage International School – Education in Katihar
Pragya Heritage International School is right there on NH 80, along the Bypass Road in Belouri. It is a spot in Purnia where things stay pretty busy because of the highway traffic. We have been here for a bit now, just doing the daily work of running a school. The gates open early and the buses roll in from different parts of town. It’s a lot of noise in the morning but then it settles down once the classes start. The building sits back from the main road so the dust doesn't get in too much. We have teachers who come in every day, some from nearby and others who travel quite a distance. There is always something to fix or a desk that needs moving. We don't really do the fancy stuff you see in big city brochures. It is more about making sure the kids have their books and the fans are working when it gets hot in the afternoon. Sometimes the power goes out and we just deal with it. The playground gets a bit dry in the summer months, but that's just how it is here. Most people around Belouri know where we are because of the big sign near the bypass. It is a straightforward place. We just try to keep things organized so the day goes by without too much trouble. It is not always perfect, but we show up and do the work. Each season brings its own set of small challenges, but we just handle them as they come.
