Prakassh Exports

You can find us over at No. 15 in Vivekanandha Nagar. We are situated on the 12th Cross of Sengunthapuram. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of houses and small businesses mixed together. Our sign says Prakassh Exports, but the office itself is pretty modest. We’ve got a few desks and a lot of shelving for all the samples and documents that pile up. The 12th cross is usually full of parked scooters, so getting a van in can be a bit of a squeeze sometimes. We spend most of our time coordinating with suppliers and making sure the crates are ready for transport. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. I usually have my lunch at the desk because there’s always an email that needs an answer. Sengunthapuram is a good hub for this kind of work, everything is close by. We don't have any big corporate mission statements on the walls. We just want to make sure the goods get where they are supposed to go without any trouble. It can be dusty in the summer, and the fans are always running to keep us cool while we work. We know the neighbors pretty well, and sometimes we stop to chat for a minute before heading back inside. It’s a straightforward business and we take it one day at a time. The work is steady, and that’s all we can really ask for. Most days are okay.
