Ntk Collective Farming is based at 9 Nangavaram Agraharam. Being in Karur, specifically in the Nangavaram area, gives us a very local feel. The office is right there in the Agraharam, so it’s a place with a lot of history and old buildings. We are a farmer producer company, which sounds fancy, but it really just means we are a group of people from around here trying to manage our farming together. Life in Karur is centered around the river and the land, and we are no different. We spend our mornings discussing the water levels or what the market looks like in town. The office is small and usually smells like tea and old paper. We don't have any slick presentations or big goals beyond just making sure we all get by. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside and talk. It is a very direct way of doing things. We don't use any complicated systems.
