Muthu Export House

The office is at 25, New Bye-Pass Road, which is a noisy spot because of all the heavy trucks passing by. Muthu Export House has been operating from this building for a few years now. It’s mostly just us handling paperwork and talking to transport guys. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. Inside, there are stacks of boxes waiting to be loaded and a lot of tape dispensers lying around. We spend a lot of time checking lists to make sure the right items are going to the right places. It’s not very exciting work, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. The afternoon sun really beats down on the front door, so we usually keep the shutters halfway down to stay cool. We have a small kettle in the corner for making tea, which we do about four times a day. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait for the shipping documents to download, which can be frustrating. We don't have a big fancy sign, just a small one near the gate so people don't miss us. The floor is concrete and easy to sweep, which is good because there's always some dirt coming in from the road. We just do our bit here and try to get everything shipped out before the evening traffic starts building up. It's a regular job for us and we just keep it going.
