M. G. M. Exports

We are located in the M. G. M. Building over on North Pradhakshnam Road in Karur. It is a pretty solid spot at number 6. If you walk down the road, you can't really miss the building. Most of our time is spent handling the boxes and making sure the paperwork is sorted out for the stuff we send away. Karur is a busy place for this kind of work, so there is always a lot of noise from the street. The office upstairs is where we keep the records. It’s not the most modern place, but it works for what we need to do. We have a few people who have been with us for years, just helping with the packing and the loading. Some days the heat is really something else, especially when the trucks are waiting outside to get filled up. We usually take a break in the late morning for some tea. It helps keep everyone going when there is a lot of heavy lifting to do. The North Pradhakshnam Road area is always moving, so there is never a dull moment. We just focus on getting the shipments ready and making sure they are packed tight so nothing gets damaged on the way out. It’s just us doing the work we know how to do, day after day, right here in the building. No big frills, just steady work. We usually stay until the last truck is gone for the day. It makes for some long evenings for everyone.
