M. G. M. Exports

Our place is at 6 North Pradhakshnam Road. It’s a decent location with plenty of activity throughout the day. M. G. M. Exports operates out of this building and we’ve made it our own over the years. We don’t have any fancy signs or big glass windows. It’s mostly just a warehouse space with a small area for the desk work. We spend the morning sorting through the items and the afternoon getting everything ready for transport. North Pradhakshnam Road stays busy with traffic so we have to be careful when the lorries are backing in. It’s a lot of shouting and waving arms to make sure nobody gets hit. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We just do the exporting work and try to keep our customers satisfied with how we pack things. The floors are concrete and they get pretty cold in the rainy season. We have a small stove for making coffee in the corner. That’s about as fancy as it gets around here. It’s a regular job for us and we take it seriously without needing any big mission statements. If the stock is counted and the truck is full, we feel like we’ve done a good job. We just keep doing the same thing day after day and it works for us.
