K. R. S. Exports

K. R. S. Exports is situated over on the 10th Cross in Sengunthpuram. If you know Vivekananda Nagar, you probably know where 13a-1 is. It’s a quiet enough street most of the time, which is nice for getting work done. We’ve been operating out of this building for several years now. When we first moved in, the place was a bit of a mess, but we fixed it up ourselves. We handle export work, which basically means a lot of organizing and double-checking everything before it goes out on a truck or a boat. It’s a lot of responsibility because people are counting on their items arriving in one piece. We don't have a fancy lobby or anyone to answer the phones with a scripted greeting. Usually, it's just me or one of the guys picking up while we're in the middle of something else. We like being in Sengunthpuram because it's a tight-knit community and everyone looks out for each other. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to go out, and other times we close up early if things are slow. It’s a local business through and through. We don't use big words or try to act like we're more important than we are. We're just trying to do a decent job so we can come back and do it again tomorrow. It’s steady work and it keeps us out of trouble for the most part. The coffee shop down the street is where we usually take our breaks.
