Yadvi Graphics

Yadvi Graphics is at Shop No 6 in Ibrahim Mandi, right on the busy Railway Road. You can definitely hear the trains going by all the time, which can be a bit loud when you're trying to talk on the phone. The Mandi is a hectic market, and there’s always someone unloading a truck or shouting about a price. Our shop is quite small, so we have to keep things very organized or we wouldn't be able to move. We have a couple of computers that stay on all day and a large printer that takes up most of the space. The air always has a bit of a chemical smell from the ink, but you get used to it after a while. We don't have a fancy waiting area; most people just stand by the counter while we work on their files. It’s a very hands-on kind of business. We do a lot of small printing and design jobs for the other shop owners in the market. Sometimes the dust from the street gets on the equipment, so we spend a lot of time cleaning things. It’s a noisy and somewhat crowded spot, but it’s right in the heart of the action. We like the fast pace and the fact that there’s always something happening right outside our door in the Mandi.
