Our shop is number 5 in the Fish Market area, right on Railway Station Road. You can definitely tell when the market is in full swing because of the smells and the noise. It’s a very lively place to work. We handle advertising stuff, mainly local things like posters and small signs. The shop is small and we have to keep everything tucked away in drawers or on high shelves. Being so close to the railway station means there is a constant stream of travelers walking past our door. Some people stop in just to ask for directions to the platform. We have a couple of old desks and a few chairs for when clients come to visit. It’s not a polished environment, and the walls have some stains from the rain, but it’s our space. We spend the morning sorting through orders and the afternoon getting them ready. The tea stalls nearby are great, and we usually have a glass of tea every couple of hours. The sound of the trains is something you stop noticing after a few days. We just focus on the work at hand and try to get things done despite the busy surroundings. It’s a practical little agency that’s been serving the local area for quite some time now. We usually close up once the sun goes down and the station lights come on.
