We are based up here in Karnal, working out of a space handled by B. Dharma Rao at R No. It’s a simple setup, nothing too grand, just a place to coordinate our local activities. Sheladia Associates Inc has been around for some time, and this particular branch is how we stay connected to the work happening in this region. The office is usually busy with people coming in to discuss project details or drop off reports. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Instead, it’s just chairs, tables, and a lot of maps and plans rolled up in the corners. The weather in Karnal gets quite sharp in the winter, so we spend a lot of time inside with the heater on. During the day, it's mostly about answering emails and checking in with the field teams. It can be a bit hectic when several projects are moving at once, but we manage. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor; we just need a functional space to get the job done. If you're looking for us, we're usually there from early morning until the sun starts to go down. Sometimes the internet is slow, which is annoying, but we make do. It is just a regular office where real work happens, and we prefer it that way because it keeps us focused on the tasks at hand. There's always plenty of work to keep us occupied.
