G-Star Fabricator

G-Star Fabricator is over on Nadana Road in Taraori. We are right opposite the New Grain Market, which means it gets really busy during the harvest season with all the tractors and trailers passing by. Our workshop is basically a big open space where we do all our welding and cutting. You’ll usually hear the sound of metal grinding or the sizzle of a welding torch if you walk past Brij Colony. We work with iron and steel mostly, making things like gates, window grills, or frames for sheds. There are always piles of metal rods and sheets leaning against the walls. We don't have any fancy marketing people or a big sales team. It’s just us doing the actual work with our hands. Sometimes the floor is covered in metal shavings and we have to be careful where we step. We have a small table in the corner where we draw out the designs on bits of paper to figure out the measurements. It’s not always perfect, and sometimes we have to redo a weld if it doesn't look right, but that’s just how fabrication goes. The sun makes the metal really hot in the afternoon, so we try to get the heavy work done early. Being near the grain market means we see a lot of local folks who just need something sturdy built for their farms or houses.
