Balaji Computers Centre

Balaji Computers Centre is out in Gharaunda, about 22km away from Karnal city. We sit right on the GT Road, which is pretty convenient since everyone passes by there. You can find us right opposite the Govt Girls Senior Secondary School. We have a row of computers set up for people to use. Some people come in to learn how to type or use the internet, and others need help with online forms. It’s a practical kind of place. We have a few dusty monitors and some newer ones mixed in. The internet can be a bit slow sometimes when it rains, but we manage. It’s mostly us helping neighbors with their digital stuff. It isn’t a high-tech lab, just a local shop with some PCs. We keep it open throughout the day. It’s often full of students from the school across the road wanting to print things out or check their results. We’ve got some chairs that have seen better days, but they work fine for a quick sit. Most of the people who come in are locals we’ve known for years. We don't do any flashy promos. People just know we are here on the main road if they need to use a computer or learn a bit about software. It gets a bit dusty being so close to the highway, but we try to wipe things down when we can. We just keep things running.
