Lepakshi Engineering & Fabrication Works

We are located over at Sh.No.9-15 in the Srinagar Colony area of Godavari Khani. If you know the Karimnagar district well, you probably know how it gets here. Our shop, Lepakshi Engineering & Fabrication Works, isn't anything fancy to look at from the street, but we keep busy with all sorts of metal jobs. We have been here for a good while now, dealing with welding, cutting, and putting together iron structures. Most days the floor is covered in metal shavings and the sound of the grinders is pretty constant. It gets hot in the workshop, especially in the afternoons, but that is just part of the job. We don’t really do much advertising or anything like that. Usually, someone just drops by because they heard we can fix a broken gate or build a frame for their new project. We have some heavy machines for bending and cutting, and we try to keep them in good shape so the work doesn't stop. It is a local operation through and through. The guys working here are mostly from around the neighborhood. We spend our mornings getting the tools ready and then it’s just work until the sun goes down. We handle the heavy lifting and the dirty work so people don't have to. There is always some grease on our hands and a lot of scrap metal piled up in the corner, but that’s how a fabrication place should be.
