Priyanaka Public School

Priyanaka Public School is based in Bholath, which is part of the Kapurthala district. The address is 144622. It is a small-town school and we have been here for many years now. The building is made of brick and has several rooms that face the central courtyard. We don’t have a huge campus, but it is enough for the kids we have. Most of our students are from the nearby streets and their parents often drop them off on scooters or bicycles. In Bholath, everyone knows their neighbors, so the school has a very local feel. The classrooms are basic with old-style blackboards and regular chalk. We have a small cupboard for sports items like cricket bats and footballs. During the winter, the Kapurthala air gets quite chilly, and we all wear our heavy woolens to stay warm. The teachers have a lot of experience and they have seen many batches of students come and go. We don't have any high-tech gadgets or modern labs. We just have our books and the daily schedule. The office is a simple room with a couple of chairs for visitors and a large desk for the head of the school. We don't do much promotion. Usually, a parent comes in because their older child studied here too. It is just a regular, honest school that has become a part of the Bholath landscape over the years. We keep things simple and focus on the work at hand.
