Army Public School Beas

Out here at V Godana Po Dhilwan, the Army Public School Beas sits in a fairly quiet spot. It is not like the schools in the middle of a big city. We have a bit more space, and you can see the sky clearly without too many tall buildings in the way. The school follows a pretty set routine. We start early, and the kids are expected to be on time. You will see them in their uniforms, walking through the gates while the mist is still on the ground some mornings. The buildings are plain and functional. We do not go in for much luxury. There are fields where the students run around and blow off steam after they have been sitting in classrooms all morning. The staff mostly lives nearby or travels in from the surrounding areas. We all know each other. It is a community where everyone knows who is who. Sometimes the rain makes the paths a bit muddy, but we just deal with it. The office is usually busy with paperwork, especially during the start of a new term. We do not have a marketing team writing things for us. This is just a place where the children of service members and locals come to study. The school is a steady part of life in Dhilwan, and we just keep the gates open and the lights on for the next generation of students.
