Khurana Priya Architect

We are located right inside the Khurana Cloth House in Moti Bazar, which is in the Suffian Mohalla area. It’s a busy part of town and there’s always something going on outside the door. Being inside the cloth house means it smells like fabric and there’s usually people coming and going all day long. We have a small corner where we do our architectural work. It’s not a huge office but we make it work with the space we have. Most of the time you’ll find us hunched over drawings or looking at site plans while the market noise hums in the background. Moti Bazar is a maze sometimes, but once you find the cloth house, we are easy to spot. We’ve been here for a bit and people know the Khurana family name around these parts. It’s a family-run kind of atmosphere and we don’t really go for anything fancy. The walls are covered in sketches and some old calendars. We drink a lot of tea while we work because it helps us focus when the market gets loud. It’s a bit cramped with all the rolls of cloth nearby but it feels like home to us. We just do our work and hope the building projects turn out okay for everyone involved. It is a noisy place but we have gotten used to the sounds of the bazar over the years. We just keep our heads down and draw.
