Saroja Driving School

We operate out of North St in Gnaramvilai, which is down in the Kanyakumari area. It’s a small place, and most of our business comes from people nearby who want to learn how to drive a car or a scooter. We have a few vehicles that have seen better days, but they work perfectly for someone just starting out. Learning to drive takes time, and we try to be patient with everyone who comes through our door. The roads around Gnaramvilai are mostly quiet, which is good for beginners. We sit in the passenger seat and explain the basics of the clutch and the gears. There aren't any fancy simulators or classroom lectures here. It’s all hands-on practice. We also help people understand the rules for getting their license from the RTO. The office is just a simple room with a desk and some chairs where we handle the paperwork. Kanyakumari weather is usually okay, but we try to schedule the lessons for the early morning or late afternoon when it’s cooler. People just want to get their license and be able to drive themselves to work or the market. We don’t make any big claims about being the top school. We just teach you how to handle the vehicle safely so you don't get into trouble on the road. It’s straightforward work for us every day.
