Michael Steels

Our shop is based in Cheriyakolla Village, which is just a little ways away from Marthandam. It is a quiet place to have a business, and we like the pace of life here. We work with steel, mostly providing it for houses and small buildings being put up around the village and the nearby town. Our yard is filled with all sorts of metal supplies, and we spend a lot of our time moving things around to get them ready for our customers. We are a local business through and through. We do not have a big corporate office or a staff in uniforms. It is usually just us in our work clothes, dealing with the daily tasks of running a yard. We have been here for many years, and we know most of the families and builders in this area. People just stop by when they need something, and we have a chat and get them sorted out. There is no need for fancy advertisements or promotional talk. We just provide a honest product at a fair price. Some days are slow and we just tidy up the place, and other days we are busy from dawn until dusk. It is hard work, especially when it gets hot, but we are used to it. We are just part of the landscape here in Cheriyakolla, doing our bit to keep things moving along for our neighbors and local builders.
