If you head down to East Street in Kadukkarai, you’ll find our office at 6-30A. We are part of Essar Steel Ltd., and we’ve been stationed here in the Kanyakumari District of Tamil Nadu for some time. Life here is a bit different than the big cities, and we like it that way. The work we do is straightforward. We deal with the logistics and the steel requirements that come through our door. It’s not always glamorous, and sometimes the humidity makes the day feel long, but the work is steady. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. We know the neighbors and the local shops on the street. Kadukkarai is a quiet enough place, but our office stays active. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking through the ledger books. There’s always something that needs fixing or an order that needs a second look. We just take things one day at a time. It’s an honest way to make a living. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the desk is a bit scratched, but it’s where we get things done. We are proud to be part of the local community here in Tamil Nadu. We plan to stay right here for a long time.
