Yashi Child Care Centre

Yashi Child Care Centre is tucked away in the Kailash Complex over in Kaka Deo. If you know Kanpur, you know that Kaka Deo is a hub for students and families, so it’s always moving. We are right near Avon Market, which is a big landmark for everyone around here. Our center is on the first floor, and the stairs are a bit narrow, so parents often struggle a bit with strollers or carrying their kids up. Inside, we tried to make it look okay for kids, maybe some stickers on the wall, but it’s still just a doctor’s office at the end of the day. There are some old toys in the corner to keep the little ones busy while they wait for their shots or regular checkups. The office can get quite noisy with kids crying and the general sound of the market outside. We usually start our day around ten, and by noon, the waiting room is usually full of people. The air conditioner works most of the time, but sometimes it struggles when the Kanpur heat really hits in June. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals to talk about. We just see the kids, talk to the parents about their diet or health, and write out prescriptions. It’s a straightforward business. Most people find us because they live in the nearby apartments or they are shopping at Avon Market and see our sign. It’s been our spot for years now, and we’ve seen some of these kids grow up from babies into school students.
