We have our small office here at D 385, right on Defence Colony Road. If you know Jajmau, you know how busy it gets around here. My desk is usually covered in papers and old maps of places people want to go. Being near Jajmau means we see a lot of local faces every day. It’s a simple setup we’ve got. We spend most of our mornings answering the phone and talking to folks about where they want to spend their holidays. Kanpur is home, and this neighborhood is where we’ve been for quite some time now. Sometimes the traffic outside is loud, but we get used to it. We just handle the bookings and make sure the itineraries make sense for people. It isn't anything fancy, just a room with some chairs and a computer that’s seen better days. We know the roads around here like the back of our hand. People stop by to ask about bus timings or train tickets, and we do what we can to help them out. The weather in Kanpur can be tough, especially in the summer heat, but we keep the fan running and stay busy. It’s just us here, Tripvaganza Travel & Tours, trying to get things right for anyone who walks through that door on Defence Colony Road. We don’t have any big posters or neon lights, just a small sign so people can find us when they’re looking for D 385 on the road.
