Shree Jee Trading Company

Our office is tucked away in Civil Lines, specifically at Flat 601, 15/70. It is a quiet enough building for being so close to the Green Park Stadium. On match days, the whole area changes and getting here can be a bit of a puzzle with all the crowds. We spend our days mostly on the phone or looking at spreadsheets to keep the trading side of things moving along. It is a small setup, just a few of us in the room most of the time. The view from the window isn't anything special but we’ve got a good tea stall just down the road that keeps us going. Trading is mostly about keeping track of numbers and making sure stuff gets where it needs to be on time. We don't have big showrooms or glossy brochures to hand out to people. Usually, people just call us or drop by the flat when they have some business to discuss. The walls are a bit plain and we probably need a new coat of paint, but it works for what we do. We’ve been in this part of town for a bit and know the rhythms of the street. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs, which is good for the legs I suppose. It’s just a normal workplace where we handle our daily tasks.
