Sangam Store

We've been running Sangam Store here in Sadar Bazar for quite a while now. If you know Kanpur, you know this area is always busy, and our shop is right in the middle of it at 1, Sangam Store. It's just a regular place where people from the neighborhood come to pick up what they need for their homes. Most of our days are spent checking stock and talking to the regulars who have been coming to us for years. We don't have anything fancy going on, just shelves filled with things for the kitchen and house and a counter that's seen a lot of use. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded, especially in the mornings when everyone is out doing their errands. We try to keep things organized, but it's a small space and there’s always something being moved around. It's a family-run kind of thing, so you'll usually see one of us behind the desk. We know most of the people who walk through the door by name. Living and working in 208001 has its own pace. It’s noisy outside and sometimes dusty, but that’s just how Sadar Bazar is. We open early and stay until the evening. There isn't much more to say about us, really. We are just here doing our job and making sure the locals have a place nearby to get their supplies without having to go too far. It's just how we live.
