Krishan Co.

Krishan Co. is located at No. 80/89 on Latouche Road. If you’ve ever been to Latouche Road, you know it’s a place where you can find almost anything if you look hard enough. The street is always crowded with cycles, carts, and people looking for parts or supplies. Our building is one of the older ones on the block, and we’ve been here for quite some time now. Inside, the walls are lined with all sorts of things we’ve collected over the years. It’s a bit dark inside because the shop is deep, but we have a couple of overhead lights that do the job. We don’t really have a formal way of doing things. We just open up in the morning, sweep the front, and wait for the day to start. There’s a lot of talking and bartering that happens out on the sidewalk, which we can hear from our desks. We aren't big on decorations or fancy displays. Everything is just kept where we can reach it. The stairs to the upper storage are a bit narrow and creaky, so we have to be careful when we’re carrying heavy loads up and down. It’s a very traditional way of working. Most of our regular visitors are people who have been coming to this area for decades. We just sit among our stock, handle the paperwork by hand mostly, and keep the business moving at its own steady pace.
