Rose Men

Rose Men is located over at 117/N/76 in the Avon Market area of Kaka Deo. If you know Kanpur, you know Avon Market Road can get pretty crowded with people and traffic most days. Our shop is right in the middle of all that activity. We have been cutting hair here for a long time. It is not a very big space, but it serves the purpose for the men in the neighborhood. We have a few old chairs that have seen a lot of use but are still sturdy. The walls have a few posters but nothing too modern. Most of the students from the nearby coaching centers come here because it is convenient and we don't charge a fortune. We try to keep the place tidy, but with the dust from the road, it is a constant job. You will usually find one or two of us standing near the door when it is quiet. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are. It is a regular Kanpur shop where the tea stall is close by and the noise of the market is always in the background. We just focus on the work at hand. Whether it is a quick trim or a shave, we do it and you go on your way. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that is just part of life here.
