Rider Garments

Rider Garments is situated at 88/47 in Prem Nagar, Kanpur. We have been operating from this same spot for a long time. Kanpur is a big, busy city, and Prem Nagar has its own pace. Our building is a typical one for this area, nothing that stands out too much from the outside. Inside, we have our stock of garments laid out so we can find things easily, though it’s not always perfectly organized. We spend our days handling different fabrics and clothes, getting them ready for customers. There’s usually a bit of noise from the street outside—horns honking and people talking—but we’re used to it by now. We are just local people running a local business. We don't use any big words or try to act like we are something we aren't. We just have a job to do and we do it. The space at 88/47 is where we spend most of our waking hours. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just have to wait it out or work by the door where there is more light. It’s just part of life here. We know the people on our street and they know us. We keep things simple and practical. If someone needs a particular garment, we do our best to find it in the piles. It is a busy, slightly dusty, but honest way to spend the day in Kanpur. We just get the work done.
