Ravi Provision Store

Ravi Provision Store is located at 223/9 in Shastri Nagar, Kanpur. We are right near Central Park and the Sabzi Mandi, which is a very busy spot. Because we are so close to the vegetable market, people usually stop by here after they buy their fresh greens. We keep all the dry goods like pulses, rice, flour, and tea. It's a small shop, and sometimes the sacks of grain take up most of the floor space. We have been here for years, and the shop looks like it. The walls have some marks and the counter is well-worn from all the coins and bags. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just wait for people to walk through the door. It’s a loud area with all the vendors calling out nearby, but we like the energy of the market. We try to keep the basic things in stock so nobody has to go far for a packet of salt or a bottle of hair oil. Our family helps out during the rush hours when the Mandi is most crowded. It’s hard work, especially in the Kanpur heat, but it’s our way of making a living. No fancy tricks, just a regular provision store for the local crowd. We keep some cold water for ourselves and occasionally share it with a thirsty customer. It's just us and our regulars every day.
