Raja Men

We’ve been running Raja Men here in Kanpur for a while now. You can find us right on Dabauli Main Road in Ratanlal Nagar, pretty close to Harmilap Mission School. It’s a straightforward place where guys come to get their hair cut or a shave without much fuss. The shop is small but it gets the job done and we know most of the people around D-19. We open up every morning and stay until the evening rush is over. Sometimes it gets a bit busy on weekends, especially when kids from the school nearby are out. We aren't trying to be fancy or anything like that. It’s just a regular local spot for the neighborhood men to sit down for a bit and leave looking a bit neater. People usually find us by looking for the school or just walking down the main road. The chairs are old but comfortable enough. We talk about the local news or whatever is happening on the street while we work. It’s been at this same spot for years and we don’t plan on moving anywhere else soon. Kanpur is home and this little corner of Dabauli is where we belong. If you’re walking past the guest house or coming from the market, you’ll see our sign. Nothing complicated about it, just a man’s shop doing what we know how to do for the folks living nearby. We aren't big on talking ourselves up, we just cut hair and keep things moving.
