Plan Your Wedding

Our little office is at 119/548 in the Gumti No 5 area of Kanpur. If you are looking for us, we are right near the Chintaharan Mandir, which is a big landmark everyone knows. Plan Your Wedding isn't a massive corporation or anything like that. It’s just us working out of this space to help local families get their events together. Gumti No 5 is always crowded and full of life, so there is never a quiet moment around the shop. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting with people who walk in from the street. Planning things for a wedding takes a lot of talk and we do plenty of that here. The building isn't new but it works for what we need. We keep a lot of notebooks and lists scattered around. It gets a bit messy when we have three or four different things happening at once. Sometimes people come in just to ask for directions to the temple and we help them out with that too. Being in Kanpur, you get used to the pace of things. We just try to keep track of the vendors and the dates without making it too complicated. It is a local business and we like it that way. Most of our day is just checking on things and making sure we didn't forget any small details for the families we are helping. It keeps us busy enough every week.
