Our place is at 71D in Gumti No 5. If you know Kanpur you know that this area is always moving. We are close to the Karrhi Subzi Mandi and the Barra World Bank section. The market is right there so there is always noise and the smell of fresh vegetables and street food in the air. Planning weddings and doing catering from here is a bit of an adventure. Our kitchen space gets very hot and busy especially when we are prepping for a big crowd. It's not a quiet office. There’s usually someone chopping something or washing big metal pots. We’ve been here in Gumti No 5 for a long time. People around here know us for the crates we stack up outside. It's a real hands-on business. We don't use fancy software to track everything. Usually it’s just a big notebook and a lot of shouting across the room to make sure the spices are right. Kanpur weather can be tough but we just keep the fans running. The street is narrow so parking is a nightmare but we manage to get our vans in and out somehow. It’s a bit chaotic but it’s how we work. We don't try to make it look like something it isn't. It’s just us making food and organizing events in the middle of a busy market.
