Mumbai Fashion is located inside the Ajay Complex in Basmandi. If you have ever been to Basmandi, you know how crowded and hectic it can get, especially on the weekends. Our shop is just one of many in the complex, but we have our own way of doing things. We have a lot of stock squeezed into a relatively small area, so you have to be careful where you step. The aisles are narrow and the ceiling is a bit low, but it feels cozy once you get used to it. We spend a lot of time talking to the other shop owners in the complex while we wait for customers. It’s a bit like a small community in here. We don't have a website or any of that modern stuff. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for people to walk in. The air in the complex can get a bit stuffy, so we keep a small fan right at the entrance to help with the heat. We handle mostly everyday wear, nothing too fancy or expensive. We’ve been at this for several years now, and the routine hasn't changed much. We get the new stock in, we put it on the racks, and we sell it. It’s a straightforward business without any hidden extras. We don't make big promises, we just show you what we have on the hangers and hope you like the price.
