We are based in Swaroop Nagar, right near the Raj Ratan. Our spot is quite close to the Hotel Royale Clif as well. Mizaaj Exhibition Life Style is mostly just a few of us who like putting together shows and lifestyle events here in Kanpur. We’ve been at this address for a good bit now. It’s not a fancy corporate setup with glass partitions. It’s more of a workspace where we keep our supplies and do our planning. Some days it’s quiet, and other days we’re tripping over boxes of display materials. We spend a lot of time on the phone with vendors or out at the actual event sites. People from the neighborhood stop in sometimes just to see what the next exhibition is going to be about. We don’t have a big marketing team. It’s just us doing the work. The traffic around Swaroop Nagar can be a bit of a mess in the evenings, but it’s a lively place to be. We like being near the hotel because it’s easy to explain to people where we are. We do a lot of the heavy lifting ourselves, moving boards and setting up lights. It’s tiring, but we’re used to it. We just focus on getting the space ready and making sure everything is where it should be. The rainy season in Kanpur makes things tricky for outdoor events, but we’ve learned how to deal with it over the years. It’s a simple operation, run by people who live right here in the city.
