Maa Sharda Ice Cream

Maa Sharda Ice Cream is based at 119/501, Chhangi Lal Ka Hata in Darshan Purwa. It is a small place where we keep our freezers and all the stuff needed to make the ice cream. Darshan Purwa is a crowded neighborhood and the power goes out more often than we would like, so we have to be very careful with the generators. Making ice cream is sticky work and the floor is always a bit wet from the ice melting during the day. We started this because there were not many places around here that made local treats. We do not have a big shop window or anything fancy. Most of the work happens inside the house and we sell to people who know we are here. The neighbors often bring their kids by in the evenings when it is hot outside. We use old recipes and do not put any weird chemicals in there. It is just simple stuff. Sometimes the machines are loud and the neighbors complain but we try to finish the work before it gets too late at night. My hands are always cold from handling the containers. We are not some big factory. It is just a few of us in Chhangi Lal Ka Hata trying to keep things frozen and sweet for the local folks who live nearby.
