Kanpur Cranes

Kanpur Cranes is set up out on the Jhansi Highway. We are right near the HP petrol pump, which is where we usually tell people to look for us. The highway is always loud with trucks and cars rushing past, and the wind blows a lot of dust into our yard. It’s a practical place to be because we can get the cranes out on the road quickly. We have a small area where we keep the machines parked when they aren't working. It isn't a polished office or a corporate building. It is just a yard with some gravel and some heavy iron. Most of our time is spent checking the cables or the hydraulic fluid. The sun can be really brutal out here on the highway, and there isn't much shade. We usually grab a snack or a drink at the petrol pump next door during our breaks. It’s a busy life, and we are often out on jobs until late at night. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who know how to handle the big stuff. Being near the highway means we see a lot of people passing through, but we just stay focused on our machines and the work at hand. It is hard work, but we are used to the noise and the dust. We just keep going, making sure everything is ready.
