We’ve been here at Plot No-284 in Pratap Ganj for quite a while now. Most people around Gadarian Purwa know us because we’ve sat in this same spot in Nayaganj for years. It’s a busy area and things are always moving. My father started things off and now we just keep it going every day. We open early in the morning, sweep the front, and start dealing with whatever comes in. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular shop with shelves full of stuff that people need. Sometimes the traffic outside gets really bad, especially in the afternoons, but that’s just how Nayaganj is. We have a lot of regular customers who stop by just to say hello or ask about some items they need for their homes. We don’t do much advertising because most people just find us by walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor. The building is old but it stays cool enough in the summer. We keep our stock organized as much as we can, though sometimes things get a bit crowded when a new shipment arrives. It’s just me and a couple of others working here. We handle the lifting, the counting, and the paperwork ourselves. It’s hard work and your hands get dirty by the end of the day, but it’s what we do. We just try to get the orders right and make sure people leave with what they came for. There isn’t much more to it than that.
