Footmac

So, Footmac is what we call this place. We are set up at No. 265 Gajjupurwa, along that long 150 Feet Road in Jajmau. It’s a pretty standard footwear shop, nothing too over the top. Most of the time, we’re just busy unpacking deliveries or helping someone find a size that fits. The street outside is always noisy, which is typical for Jajmau. We’ve got a lot of variety when it comes to shoes, from basic slippers to stuff that's a bit more sturdy. I started working here a while back, and it’s been the same routine since. We open up early and stay late most days. The walls are covered in shelving, and we try to keep the floors clear so people can walk around easily. It's not a showroom you'd see in a big mall. It's more of a local shop where you can actually talk to the people working there. We know a lot of the regulars by name now. Gajjupurwa is a good spot for us. People know they can find us easily on the 150 Feet Road. We don't really bother with big sales pitches. If a shoe fits and you like it, that’s good enough for us. We just keep doing what we do every day. Sometimes it’s slow, sometimes it’s hectic, but that is just how running a shop goes. We keep a spare stool for anyone who needs to sit while trying on a pair.
