Hotel Celebration

You can find us at 110/184, right at the Celebration Crossing. We are near the Gumti Gurudwara in the R.K. Nagar area, off G.T. Road. It’s a very busy part of Kanpur. There’s always the sound of horns and people talking outside. We’ve been here at this crossing for a long time. The building is a bit of a landmark for people in this neighborhood. We have a lot of rooms and some halls where people hold local events or meetings. Most of our work involves keeping the schedule straight for these gatherings. It gets very loud and crowded on weekends when there’s a function. During the week, it’s mostly business travelers who need to be near the main road. We keep the rooms ready and the kitchen going. It’s a lot of hard work behind the scenes, especially with the laundry and the cleaning. We don't have a fancy website or a big corporate office. We just sit at the front desk and talk to whoever walks in. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to get the generator started, but that’s just part of living in this city. We try to be helpful when people ask for directions to the Gurudwara or the market. It’s a busy, noisy, and honest place to run a business on the G.T. Road.
