Hotel Cross Road

If you're looking for us, we are right here in Shivpuri, Patel Nagar. Kanpur is a crowded place, and our spot at 729 is where we take care of people coming into town. Hotel Cross Road is a regular hotel. We have rooms, we have staff who’ve been here for a bit, and we try to keep the place tidy. There’s always someone at the front desk. Sometimes it gets loud outside because, well, it’s Kanpur. We get travelers, some for work, some just passing through to see family. We don't have those massive lobbies you see in movies, but we have enough space for you to sit down and rest. The building has been here for some time now. We know the neighbors and the local shops nearby. If you need to know where to get a good meal or which rickshaw to take, we usually have an answer. It’s just how things are run here. We don't use big words to describe the rooms. They have beds and bathrooms. We change the sheets and make sure the fans or AC are working. It's simple work but it keeps us busy from morning till night. Patel Nagar is a decent area to be in, and we are glad to be part of the community here. We don't try to be anything we aren't, just a place to stay and get a decent night of sleep before moving on.
