It is just a regular shop here at No. 101/391 in Colonel Ganj. Chipyana is a busy place and we have been at this spot for quite some time now. Mostly we deal with women's clothes because that is what people around here usually look for when they walk down this street. My cousin and I run the place and we spend most of our mornings unpacking boxes and trying to fit everything on the shelves. It gets a bit cramped sometimes especially when the new stock arrives on Tuesdays. We don't have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a counter and some racks and a small fan in the corner that makes a lot of noise. The neighbors at the tea stall always bring us snacks in the afternoon which is nice. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the front door but we just put a bucket there and keep going. We know most of the people who live nearby by their first names. It is not a very big business but it keeps us busy from morning until late at night. We just try to get the work done and hope the electricity doesn't go out like it did last week. It is a simple life in Colonel Ganj and we are just happy to have the doors open every day. If you ever walk by Chipyana you will see our sign hanging a bit crookedly over the entrance.
