Computer Operator

I’ve got my small computer setup over at 1/96 in Nawabganj. Kanpur is a pretty loud and busy city, but this little room stays mostly quiet for me to get my work done. I’ve been a computer operator for quite some years, and I’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood. I don’t have a fancy shop front or a team of employees. It’s just me and my machine. I spend my time typing out letters, sorting through data, and helping people who aren't comfortable using a computer themselves. The walls are a bit bare, and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound on its highest setting, but it works for me. I don’t go in for all those marketing phrases or trying to sound like a big company. I’m just a local person who is good with a keyboard. My desk is always covered in small scraps of paper where I’ve scribbled down notes or phone numbers. It looks messy to some, but I have my own system. I take a break every few hours to walk down the street and get some fresh air. It’s a steady way to make a living, and I like being my own boss. If you need something typed or need help with a digital form, you can find me here most days. I don’t promise anything fancy, just that I’ll sit down and do the work properly until it’s finished.
