Our building is located at 7/105 in Swaroop Nagar. It’s a busy neighborhood and we fit right in among the other shops and houses. We handle dairy and food products. Our day starts much earlier than most people’s. The milk trucks arrive when it’s still dark outside. We have to get everything moved into the cooling tanks right away. It’s a lot of heavy lifting with the cans. The floors are almost always wet because we are constantly washing things down to keep them clean. It’s a cold environment because of all the refrigeration we need. You’ll usually see us wearing sweaters even when it’s hot outside. We aren't a huge company with a fancy office. We have a small desk near the front where we keep track of the deliveries. Most of our time is spent in the back, checking the quality of the milk or preparing other dairy items. People from the area often stop by to see what we have. We’ve been here in Swaroop Nagar for a long time, so everyone knows us. We don't use any complicated machines for everything; some of it is still done the old way. It’s a simple business but it keeps us very busy. We just focus on getting the daily work done. It’s not glamorous, but it’s what we do. We like being part of the daily life of the neighborhood.
