Associated Chemical Industries (Kanpur) Pvt. Ltd. is located right in the middle of the Factory Area in Fazalganj. Our address is 123/369, and if you’ve ever walked through this part of Kanpur, you know it’s a lot of old brick buildings and narrow lanes filled with workers. We’ve been here for years. The walls in the office could probably use a new coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy with the chemical side of things to worry about that. It’s loud out on the floor with the machines running, so we usually have to shout a bit to be heard. It’s not the kind of place you’d come for a tour, but it’s where we get things done. We make sure the chemicals are mixed right and the containers are sealed up tight before they head out. Some of the guys have been with us since the start, and we all know the rhythm of the place by now. The power goes out sometimes, like it does in this part of town, so we just wait it out or use the generators. It’s practical work. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. You just walk in, find someone at a desk, and ask what you need. It’s just a group of people trying to run a steady business in a busy industrial zone. There really isn't much more to it than that, if we are being honest.
