Down in Shyam Nagar, Kanpur, you can find us at 39-D, specifically in Flat G-3. It’s a residential area, so it’s much quieter than the industrial zones. Sparkysquad operates out of this flat, which gives it a very homey feel. You won't find any big neon signs here. Most of the time, it just looks like another apartment from the outside. Inside, we’ve converted the rooms into workspaces. The kitchen is where we keep the printer and the water cooler. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when the whole squad is together, but it makes it easier to talk to each other without having to send emails across the room. Chakeri is a decent part of Kanpur to be in. We have the local shops just a short walk away if we need a break or some snacks. The flooring is that old-school tile that stays cool even when the Kanpur summers get really intense. We don't have a big fancy lobby. Visitors usually just knock on the door and walk right into the main work area. It feels more like a workshop than a corporate headquarters. We like it that way because it keeps things simple. No one has to dress up in suits or act formal. We just get the day started and see where the work takes us.
