We are located in Akbarpur, Kanpur. It’s a busy place with a lot of people coming and going. Our shop is focused on mobile software, so we have cables and computers set up everywhere. Most days involve someone bringing in a phone that won't turn on or has some kind of glitch. We sit at the counter and try to figure out what went wrong with the code or the updates. It’s a small space, and it can get quite hot in the summer because the computers put off a lot of heat. We have a small TV in the corner that’s usually on a news channel, but nobody really watches it. People from all over Akbarpur come by because they know we’ve been here for a while. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how to handle the different mobile brands and their software quirks. Sometimes a repair takes longer than we thought, so we end up staying late into the evening. The street outside is always noisy with motorcycles and vendors, but inside we just focus on the screens. We don't do much advertising; people just know where we are. It’s a simple life, working on phones and helping people get their data back or fix a broken system. We keep a bottle of water on every desk and just get through the pile of phones waiting for us. It takes patience to deal with all the different errors we see daily.
