Rashi Food

Rashi Food is located at 3/A/18 in Vikas Nagar. We are very close to the main bus stand, so there is never a dull moment around here. We see hundreds of people passing by every day as they catch their buses to work or school. Our shop is small and simple. We handle a variety of food products that people use in their kitchens every day. We start our mornings very early, usually while it's still dark, to get everything sorted before the first buses start running. The space is often cramped because we try to keep a good amount of stock on the shelves. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who do everything from cleaning the floors to talking to the customers. The noise from the bus horns and the engines is something you just get used to after a while. We have a small counter where we sit and wait for customers. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to chat for a bit. We don't have fancy packaging or big posters on the walls. It’s just a plain shop that serves the local community. We stay open late into the evening because there are always people coming home on the last buses. It is a tiring job but we like being in the middle of all the activity. It feels good to be busy.
